وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : بَنَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِزَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ . فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الْوَلِيمَةِ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ : وَإِنَّ زَيْنَبَ لَجَالِسَةٌ فِي جَنْبِ الْبَيْتِ .
قَالَ : وَكَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ قَدْ أُعْطِيَتْ جَمَالًا ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - شَدِيدَ الْحَيَاءِ . فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قَالَ : وَكَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ قَدْ أُعْطِيَتْ جَمَالًا ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - شَدِيدَ الْحَيَاءِ . فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) consummated his marriage with Sayyidah Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her). Then he mentioned the hadith about the wedding feast (walimah), in which, further on, he says: Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) was sitting in a corner of the house. The narrator says: She was a woman who had been given beauty, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was extremely modest. Then the narrator mentioned the full hadith.
