Majma al-Zawaid 15346 — Reports on Zaynab bint Jahsh, wife

Al-Zuhri says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) bint Jahsh bin Ri'ab bin Asad bin Khuzaymah. Her mother was Umaymah bint Abd al-Muttalib bin Hashim, and she (that is, Umaymah) was the paternal aunt of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator says: Among the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), she (that is, Sayyidah Zaynab bint Jahsh, may Allah be pleased with her) was the first to pass away.
At-Tabarani recorded it as a mursal report; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
