وَعَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَتْ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَيْنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ؟ فَقَالَتْ : فِي الْبَيْتِ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ مَكَثْتُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أَمْكُثَ ، ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَعْدُ يَقُولُ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I came to the house of Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her). I said: Where is the Messenger of Allah? She said: He is inside the house, and revelation is coming down to him. Then I stayed there for as long as Allah willed, and afterwards I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "O Aishah! This is Jibril conveying salam (greetings of peace) to you."
At-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ya'qub bin Humayd, who is da'if (weak).
