وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : أُعْطِيتُ سَبْعًا لَمْ يُعْطَهَا نِسَاءُ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : كُنْتُ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ نَفْسًا ، وَأَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ أَبًا ، وَتَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَلَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي ، وَكَانَ جِبْرِيلُ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ بِالْوَحْيِ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فِي لِحَافٍ ، وَلَمْ يُفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ بِغَيْرِي ، وَكَانَ لِي يَوْمَانِ وَلَيْلَتَانِ وَلِنِسَائِهِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ .
قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ : مَتْنٌ ضُعِّفَ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I have been given seven distinctions that were not given to any of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). In my own person I was the most beloved of all people to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and my father was the most beloved of all people to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married me, and he did not marry any virgin other than me. Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) would descend upon him with revelation while I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) under the blanket, and Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) did not do this with any wife other than me. My turn consisted of two days and two nights, while all the other wives had one day and one night each. The narrator says: After that she mentioned the whole hadith.
