Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah Almighty will have those who accused Aishah given the prescribed punishment of eighty lashes each before all of creation. My Lord will ask for those among them who are Muhajirun to be pardoned as a gift. O Aishah! Then I will ask your wishes." The narrator says: When Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) heard this, she began to weep, as she was in the house. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "By the One who sent you as a Prophet with the truth! Your happiness is dearer to me than my own happiness." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled, laughing, and said: "She is her father's daughter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Harun Abu Alqamah al-Farwi, who is da'if (weak). Various chains of this narration have passed before.
