وَعَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ قَالَتْ : افْتَخَرْتُ أَنَا وَعَائِشَةُ وَزَيْنَبُ ، فَقَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ : أَنَا الَّتِي زَوَّجَنِي اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ . وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : أَنَا الَّتِي نَزَلَ عُذْرِي مِنَ السَّمَاءِ حِينَ حَمَلَنِي صَفْوَانُ بْنُ الْمُعَطَّلِ ، فَقَالَتْ لَهَا زَيْنَبُ : أَيُّ شَيْءٍ قُلْتِ حِينَ رَكِبْتِ ؟ قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ . قَالَتْ : قُلْتِ كَلِمَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ عِرْفَانَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyidah Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I expressed pride before one another. Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I am the one whom Allah Almighty married off from the heavens." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I am the one concerning whose innocence a ruling was revealed, when Safwan bin al-Mu'attal mounted me and brought me back." Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) asked her: "When you mounted, what words did you recite?" She said: "I recited: 'Hasbiya Allahu wa ni'ma al-wakil (Allah Almighty is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs).'" Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "You recited the words that are the declaration of the believers."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Mu'alla bin Irfan, who is matruk (abandoned).
