Majma al-Zawaid 15260 — The virtue of Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, wife

Al-Tabarani states: Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) bint Khuwaylid bin Asad bin Abd al-Uzza bin Qusayy is the first woman whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married, and she is the mother of all his male and female children. Only the case of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) is different: he was born to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) slave-woman, Sayyidah Mariyah al-Qibtiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her).
