وَعَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ : تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَدِيجَةَ بِمَكَّةَ ، وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ امْرَأَةٍ تَزَوَّجَ ، وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَهُ عِنْدَ أَبِي هَالَةَ التَّمِيمِيِّ ، وَتَزَوَّجَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً ، وَتُوُفِّيَتْ لِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ مَضَيْنَ مِنْ مَبْعَثِهِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ زُبَالَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Ibn Shihab states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) in Makkah. She is the first woman whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married. Before that, this lady had been the wife of Abu Halah al-Tamimi. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married this lady, he was twenty-one years old, and she passed away when seven years had passed since the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) commissioning.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin al-Hasan bin Zubalah, who is da'if (weak).
