Urwah bin al-Zubayr states: A man was bringing Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when two men of Quraysh arrived. The two of them fought with that man until they overpowered him. The two of them pushed the lady; she fell onto a rock, miscarried and began to bleed. They took her to Abu Sufyan. The women of Banu Hashim came to Abu Sufyan, and he handed the lady over to these women. After that, Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) went as an emigrant. She remained continuously in that pain until she passed away from that very pain, and people regarded her as having attained the rank of martyrdom.
Al-Tabarani recorded it.
