وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ أَيْضًا قَالَتْ : كُنْتُ فِي زِفَافِ فَاطِمَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا - بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَتْ جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَضَرَبَ الْبَابَ ، فَقَامَتْ إِلَيْهِ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ فَفَتَحَتْ لَهُ الْبَابَ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " يَا أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ ، ادْعِي لِي أَخِي " . فَقَالَتْ : أَخُوكَ هُوَ - [ أَيْ كَلِمَةٌ يَمَانِيَّةٌ ] - وَتُنْكِحُهُ ابْنَتَكَ ؟ قَالَ : " يَا أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ ، ادْعِي لِي " . فَسَمِعَ النِّسَاءُ صَوْتَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَتَحَشْحَشْنَ ، فَجَلَسَ فِي نَاحِيَةٍ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ عَلِيٌّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - فَدَعَا لَهُ ، ثُمَّ نَضَحَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " ادْعُوا لِي فَاطِمَةَ " . فَجَاءَتْ وَهِيَ عَرِقَةٌ ، أَوْ حِزِقَةٌ مِنَ الْحَيَاءِ ، فَقَالَ : " اسْكُتِي ; فَقَدَ أَنَكَحْتُكِ أَحَبَّ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي إِلَيَّ " . فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ . رَوَاهُ كُلَّهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ الرِّوَايَةِ الْأُولَى رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
One narration is reported from Sayyidah Asma bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her); she says: When Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was sent off as a bride, the next morning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and knocked at the door. Sayyidah Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) got up, went to him and opened the door for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: O Umm Ayman! Call my brother to me. She said: He is your brother, and you have married your daughter to him? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Umm Ayman! Call him to me. The women heard the voice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and moved aside. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat in a corner. Then Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him over, then sprinkled water on him, then said: Call Fatimah to me. When she came, she was bent over out of shyness. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Be quiet; I have married you to the person of my Ahl al-Bayt who is most beloved to me. After that the narrator mentioned the narration as before. Imam al-Tabarani recorded all these narrations, and the narrators of the first narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
