وَعَنْ فَاطِمَةَ الْكُبْرَى قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " كُلُّ بَنِي أُمٍّ يَنْتَمُونَ إِلَى عُصْبَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَدَ فَاطِمَةَ ; فَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُمْ ، وَأَنَا عُصْبَتُهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ شَيْبَةُ بْنُ نَعَامَةَ وَلَا يَجُوزُ الِاحْتِجَاجُ بِهِ .

Sayyidah Fatimah al-Kubra (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The children of every mother are attributed to their 'asabah (paternal kinsmen), except the children of Fatimah; I am their guardian and I am their 'asabah."
