بَابُ فَضْلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
The virtue of Ibrahim, son of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with him)
Majma al-Zawaid 14953 — The virtue of Ibrahim, son of the Prophet ﷺ
وَعَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قُلْتُ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى ابْنِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ؟ قَالَ : لَا أَدْرِي ، رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، لَوْ عَاشَ لَكَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَبِيًّا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Al-Suddi narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lead the funeral prayer of his son, Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him)? He replied: I do not know. May Allah Almighty send down His mercy upon Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him); had he lived, he would have been a truthful prophet.
