وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ : أَوَّلُ مَنْ سَلَّ سَيْفًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ : الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ .
وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Urwah narrates: "The first person to draw a sword in the path of Allah was Sayyiduna al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him)." Its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
