Urwah narrates: Sayyiduna al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) was a tall man; when he mounted a riding animal, his feet would touch the ground. He had abundant hair, and sometimes his hair reached his shoulders.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Abu Ghaziyyah, whom the majority declared da'if (weak) while al-Hakim (may Allah have mercy on him) declared him thiqah (trustworthy); and it contains Ibn Abi al-Zinad, about whom there is disagreement.
