Majma al-Zawaid 14784 — The death of Ali
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْتَزَمَ عَلِيًّا وَقَبَّلَهُ وَيَقُولُ : " بِأَبِي الْوَحِيدُ الشَّهِيدُ ! ! بِأَبِي الْوَحِيدُ الشَّهِيدُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) embrace Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and kiss him, and he said: "May my father be ransomed for him! He will be alone, and he will be a martyr. May my father be ransomed for him! He will be alone, and he will be a martyr."
