Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 14712

In one narration the wording is: Today my charity (sadaqah) reaches forty thousand. Ahmad recorded all of it; the narrators of both narrations are the narrators of the Sahih, except Sharik bin Abdullah al-Nakha'i, who is hasan al-hadith (good in hadith); however, there is disagreement about whether Muhammad bin Ka'b heard from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). And Allah knows best.
