وَعَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ : ذُكِرَ لِأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَوْلُ عَلِيٍّ ، فَقَالَ : أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى رَأْسِهِ كَالطَّسْتِ ، وَإِنَّمَا حَوْلَهُ كَالْخِفَافِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Abu al-Tufayl narrates: A statement of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was mentioned before Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said: Did you not look at his head, which was like a basin, while the part around it was like khifaf? (That is, there was no hair on the middle of his head, while there was hair at the sides.)
