Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 14522

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) brought some dinars and poured them into the lap of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began turning them over and saying: "Nothing that Uthman does after this day will harm him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Amr bin Salih al-Ramahurmuzi, who is da'if (weak).
