Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: One day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him); he looked at him with a smile and said: "O Ibn al-Khattab! Why did I look at you with a smile?" He replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty expressed pride in the people of Arafah in general, and expressed pride in you in particular."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Rishdin bin Sa'd, and there is disagreement about using him as evidence.
