بَابُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَقَلْبِهِ .
Allah placed the truth on the tongue and heart of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)

وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَقَلْبِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ ضُعَفَاءُ ، سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ .

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty has placed the truth upon the tongue of Umar and upon his heart."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains da'if (weak) narrators, Sulayman al-Shadhakuni and others.
