بَابُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَقَلْبِهِ .
Allah placed the truth on the tongue and heart of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَقَلْبِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ - كَاتِبِ اللَّيْثِ - وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ - كَاتِبِ اللَّيْثِ - وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has placed the truth upon the tongue and the heart of Umar."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abdullah bin Salih, the scribe of al-Layth; he has been declared thiqah (trustworthy), but there is weakness in him.
