بَابُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَقَلْبِهِ .
Allah placed the truth on the tongue and heart of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)

وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَضَعَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَقَلْبِهِ ، يَقُولُ بِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ الْعَكَّاوِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ الْعَكَّاوِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has placed the truth upon the tongue and the heart of Umar; he speaks in accordance with it (the truth)."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Sa'id al-Muqri' al-Akkawi, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
