Book of Purification
بَابٌ فِي قَوْلِهِ : الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ .
The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Water is from water"

وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِذَا جَاوَزَ الْخِتَانُ الْخِتَانَ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the private part passes the private part, the ritual bath (ghusl) becomes obligatory." Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Abu Bakr bin Abi Maryam, who is da'if (weak).
