وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ بِمَنْزِلَتِهِ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ قَوْلِهِ : وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ بِمَنْزِلَتِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ قَوْلِهِ : وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ بِمَنْزِلَتِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at the age of sixty-five, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was of the same age. (Allamah Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is mentioned in the Sahih, but without these words: "Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was of the same age."
Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
