Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has supported me with four people who are both ministers and deputies." We said: "O Messenger of Allah! Who are these four?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two of them are from the people of the heaven and two are from the people of the earth." I asked: "Who are the two from the people of the heaven?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibril and Mika'il." We asked: "Who are the two from the people of the earth?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr and Umar."
