وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ نَبِيًّا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr al-Siddiq is the best of all people, except for the prophets, whose case is different."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Ziyad, and he is da'if (weak).
