وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّا لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Our inheritance (that is, that of the prophets (peace be upon them)) is not passed on; whatever we leave behind is charity."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Amr al-Bajali, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) and others declared da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
