Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When this surah was revealed (Allah Almighty says): "When the help of Allah and the victory come," the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: "I have been informed of my passing." Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) began to weep, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Do not weep, for you will be the first of my family to join me." So she laughed. One of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw this and said: "I saw you weep first and then laugh?" Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told me that he had been informed of his passing, so I wept. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Do not weep, for you will be the first of my family to join me,' so I laughed."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the "Sahih", except Hilal bin Khabbab, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but has some weakness.
