وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا قُتِلَ أَبِي ، دَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " أَتُحِبُّ الدَّرَاهِمَ ؟ " . قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ : " لَوْ قَدْ جَاءَنَا مَالٌ لَأَعْطَيْتُكَ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . قَالَ : فَمَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَبْلَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَنِي ، فَلَمَّا اسْتُخْلِفَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - أَتَاهُ مَالٌ مِنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ ، فَقَالَ : خُذْ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ : لَكَ - فَأَخَذْتُ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا السِّيَاقِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا السِّيَاقِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When my father was martyred, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called me and said: Do you like dirhams? I said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If wealth comes to us, I will give you this much and this much. The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away before he could pay me. When Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was made caliph, wealth came to him from Bahrain, and he said: Take it in the way the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told you. So I took it. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This narration is reported in the Sahih without this context.
