وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَيْضًا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " فِي التَّيَمُّمِ بِالصَّعِيدِ أَنْ يَضْرِبَ بِكَفَّيْهِ عَلَى الثَّرَى ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ ، ثُمَّ يَضْرِبُ ضَرْبَةً أُخْرَى فَيَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا ذِرَاعَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْجَزَرِيُّ ، قَالَ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ : مَتْرُوكٌ .

It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Concerning dry ablution (tayammum) with clean earth, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said that a person should strike the ground with his palms and then wipe his face with them; then he should strike another strike and wipe his arms up to the elbows with them.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Sulayman bin Dawud al-Jazari, about whom Imam Abu Zur'ah said: He is matruk (abandoned).
