وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " التَّيَمُّمُ ضَرْبَتَانِ : ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ ، وَضَرْبَةٌ لِلْيَدَيْنِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ ظَبْيَانَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ فَقَالَ : كَذَّابٌ خَبِيثٌ ، وَجَمَاعَةٌ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ : لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ ظَبْيَانَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ فَقَالَ : كَذَّابٌ خَبِيثٌ ، وَجَمَاعَةٌ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ : لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In dry ablution (tayammum) there are two strikes: one strike for the face and one strike for both arms up to the elbows."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ali bin Zabyan, whom Yahya bin Ma'in declared da'if (weak) and said: He is a wicked liar. A group (of scholars) also declared him da'if, while Abu Ali al-Naysaburi said: There is no harm in him.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ali bin Zabyan, whom Yahya bin Ma'in declared da'if (weak) and said: He is a wicked liar. A group (of scholars) also declared him da'if, while Abu Ali al-Naysaburi said: There is no harm in him.
