Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Some people came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Our camel has broken loose and gone into a garden." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to it and said: "Come forward." So it came forward with its head lowered, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put a halter on it and handed that camel over to its owners. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "O Messenger of Allah! It seems as if it knows that you are the Prophet of Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything between its two edges knows that I am a Prophet, except the disbelievers among the jinn and humans."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though there is weakness in some of its narrators.
