بَابُ حَبْسِ الشَّمْسِ لَهُ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَمَرَ الشَّمْسَ فَتَأَخَّرَتْ سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded the sun, and it held back for a part of the day.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
