Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: All the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to stay with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for one whole day in the year. On one such day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one of you with the longest hand will be the first to come and join me." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: We began measuring our hands, and the hand of Sayyidah Sawdah bint Zam'ah (may Allah be pleased with her) was the longest. But when Sayyidah Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) (the text has it this way; however, the word is: Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her)) passed away, we came to know that her hand was the longest in doing good and giving charity (and this was what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant). Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) used to spin thread and give its proceeds to the military expeditions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); she would sew clothes and provide help for the expeditions through it. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: On that day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "What will be the state of one of you when the dogs of 'al-Haw'ab' bark at her?" (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A part of this report is mentioned in the "Sahih".
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy, though there is weakness in some of its narrators.
