Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: For the traveller it is three days and three nights, and for the resident one day and one night. The narrator said: I travelled with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, and he kept wiping over his leather socks for three days.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and it is "mawquf" (stopping at the Companion), as you can see. His "marfu'" hadith (attributed to the Prophet) has already passed, and it is narrated with chains, some of whose narrators are the narrators of the "Sahih".
