وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ ، وَأَوَّلُ شَافِعٍ وَمُشَفَّعٍ ، بِيَدَيْ لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ ، تَحْتِي آدَمُ فَمَنْ دُونَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْكِلَابِيُّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْكِلَابِيُّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection I will be the leader of all the children of Adam, and I do not say this by way of pride. I will be the first person for whom the earth will be split open, and I will be the first to intercede and the one whose intercession will be accepted. In my hand will be the Banner of Praise (Liwa' al-Hamd), and Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him) and all others besides him will be beneath it."
Abu Ya'la and al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin Uthman al-Kilabi, whom Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy despite his weakness; the rest of the narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
