وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكَ يَقُولُ : كَيْفَ رَفَعْتُ ذِكْرَكَ ؟ قَالَ : اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : إِذَا ذُكِرْتُ ذُكِرْتَ مَعِي " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَإِسْنَادُهُ . . . .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Jibril came to me and said: 'My Lord and your Lord says: How have I exalted your mention?'" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Allah knows best." Then (Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has said:) "When I am mentioned, you will be mentioned along with Me."
