Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1387

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding wiping over the leather socks: For the traveller its period is three days, and for the resident one day and one night.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a "mawquf" report (stopping at the Companion). Its chain contains a narrator, Yusuf bin Atiyyah al-Kufi, who has been accused of lying.
