Majma al-Zawaid 13831 — The nobility of the lineage of the Prophet ﷺ
وَعَنْ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ : مَا كَانَ اسْمُ أُمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ [ آمِنَةُ بِنْتُ وَهْبٍ ] . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَهَذَا مِمَّا لَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى إِسْنَادٍ .
Maymun narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him): "What was the name of the mother of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He said: "Sayyidah Aminah bint Wahb (may Allah be pleased with her)."
