وَعَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ قُرَيْشًا قَالَتْ : إِنَّ مَثَلَ مُحَمَّدٍ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَثَلُ نَخْلَةٍ فِي كَبْوَةٍ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ بِإِسْنَادٍ حَسَنٍ وَهَذَا الظَّنُّ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Quraysh said: "The likeness of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is that of a date palm that grows in a filthy place."
