Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1382

Yarim bin As'ad narrates: I was with Sayyiduna Qays bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), who had served the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for ten years. He performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks, and I have not forgotten the marks of his fingers on the leather socks, because they were both new.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Yarim has been mentioned by Ibn Abi Hatim, and he did not mention anyone who narrated from Yarim other than Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i.
