بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْمَسِيحِ عِيسَى بْنِ مَرْيَمَ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Majma al-Zawaid 13793 — Mention of the Messiah Isa bin Maryam
وَعَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَتْ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ عِيسَى بْنَ مَرْيَمَ مَكَثَ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْأَزْدِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْدَةَ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ فَاطِمَةَ .
Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Indeed, Isa bin Maryam remained among the Children of Israel for forty years."
Abu Ya'la recorded it from al-Husayn bin Ali bin al-Aswad, whom al-Azdi declared da'if (weak) and Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy); and the narrator Yahya bin Ja'dah did not live in the time of Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her).
