Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The height of Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) was twelve cubits, his staff was twelve cubits long, and he leapt twelve cubits. He struck Awj bin Anaq, and the blow landed on his ankle.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains al-Mas'udi, whose memory became confused (ikhtilat), and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
