Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13773

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him) and his mother were given two thirds of the beauty of mankind, in face, fair complexion and other things. Whenever a woman came to Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him), he would cover his face with a cloth, fearing that the woman might be put to trial."
Al-Tabarani recorded it as a mawquf report, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
