Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1377

Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued to wipe over the leather socks, before Surah al-Ma'idah was revealed and after it, until his passing away.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Sawwar bin Mus'ab, and there is agreement that he is da'if (weak).
