وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ حَزْمٍ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَيَقُولُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَمْسَحُ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا .

Abdullah bin al-Tufayl narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Amr bin Hazm (may Allah be pleased with him) wiping over his leather socks, and he was saying: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over his leather socks.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Waqidi, and he is extremely da'if (weak).
