بَابُ مَا يَفْعَلُ طَالِبُ الْحَاجَةِ وَمِمَّنْ يَطْلُبُهَا .
What one seeking a need should do and from whom he should seek it

اُردوEn
وَعَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - أَرَاهُ رَفَعَهُ - قَالَ : " اطْلُبُوا الْخَيْرَ إِلَى حِسَانِ الْوُجُوهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خِرَاشِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : رُبَّمَا أَخْطَأَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Mujahid narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both)
this report, and I think he narrated it as a marfu' hadith: "Seek good with those of handsome faces!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abdullah bin Khirash bin Hawshab, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), saying: he sometimes erred; others declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
