بَابُ مَا يَفْعَلُ طَالِبُ الْحَاجَةِ وَمِمَّنْ يَطْلُبُهَا .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ وَجْهًا حَسَنًا وَاسْمًا حَسَنًا وَجَعَلَهُ فِي مَوْضِعٍ غَيْرَ شَائِنٍ ، فَهُوَ صَفْوَةُ اللَّهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ " . وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : قَالَ الشَّاعِرُ :
أَنْتَ شَرْطَ النَّبِيِّ إِذْ قَالَ يَوْمًا فَابْتَغُوا الْخَيْرَ فِي صِبَاحِ الْوُجُوهِ رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ خَلَفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
أَنْتَ شَرْطَ النَّبِيِّ إِذْ قَالَ يَوْمًا فَابْتَغُوا الْخَيْرَ فِي صِبَاحِ الْوُجُوهِ رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ خَلَفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah Almighty has granted a handsome face and a good name, and has placed in a position free of disgrace, that person is Allah Almighty's chosen one among His creation." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A poet said: "You match the condition stated by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Seek good with those of handsome faces!'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Khalaf bin Khalid al-Basri, who is da'if (weak).
