وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ نِعْمَةً فَأَسْبَغَهَا عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْ حَوَائِجِ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ ، فَتَبَرَّمَ ، فَقَدْ عَرَّضَ تِلْكَ النِّعْمَةَ لِلزَّوَالِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any servant to whom Allah Almighty grants a blessing, and grants it in full, and then directs people's needs towards him, and that person does not fulfil those needs, has exposed that blessing to decline."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is jayyid (good).
