وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ أَيْضًا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا يُشْرِفُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِهِ الْبُنْيَانَ وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ ؟ " . قَالُوا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " أَنْ تَحْلُمَ عَلَى مَنْ جَهِلَ عَلَيْكَ ، وَأَنْ تَصِلَ مَنْ قَطَعَكَ ، وَتُعْطِيَ مَنْ حَرَمَكَ ، وَتَعْفُوَ عَنْ مَنْ ظَلَمَكَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ بْنُ يَعْلَى وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you of the things by which Allah Almighty grants a lofty building and by which He raises ranks?" The people said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They are that you be forbearing towards the one who behaves ignorantly against you, keep ties with the one who cuts you off, give to the one who deprives you, and overlook the one who wrongs you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Umayyah bin Ya'la, who is da'if (weak).
